A Simple Clever Card Trick

This is a cool card trick which i learnt long back. Its so easy even i can perform it without any flaws.

So here it goes

Take 1 king (Preferably king of Hearts).
4 Queens
4 Jacks
4 Aces
4 Twos

Before performing the trick you have to Narrate a story .

Story

Once upon a time there was a King (King of Hearts) he had four beautiful daughters (Queen of Hearts,Spade,Clubs and Diamond) they were living happily in a Castle .One Stormy day 4 hunters came ( Jack of Spades,Diamond,Hearts and Clubs) they wanted to rest in the castle as they couldn't return to their place due to the bad weather. The king was in dilemma because he had only 5 Royal rooms in his Castle One for him and the rest for his daughters .


The king had a solution he put 2 hunters in the first room from here the trick starts

Step 1: Put the king Card in the center of table or wherever you are performing this trick

Step 2: Place 2 Jack cards on the top Right corner where the king card is already placed in the center of the table

Step 3: Now Place 2 Queen cards on the top left corner where the king card is already placed in the center of the table

Step 4 : Place 2 Jack cards on the bottom left corner where the king card is already placed in the center of the table

Step 5: Now Place 2 Queen cards on the bottom right corner where the king card is already placed in the center of the table

The king allocates the room to the hunters and his daughters in the above mentioned setup King has a fear in his mind as the Queens and Hunters were exchanging looks during the dinner he thought that additional security would save him from trouble.so he does the below mentioned precautionary measures

Step 6: On the top right corner set of jacks he places a lock (Ace Card) and also appoints a Guard (Number Two Card).

Step 7: Similarly on the top left corner set of queens he places a lock (Ace Card) and also appoints a Guard (Number Two Card).

Step 8: On the bottom left corner set of jacks he places a lock (Ace Card) and also appoints a Guard (Number Two Card).

Step 9: Similarly on the bottom right corner set of queens he places a lock (Ace Card) and also appoints a Guard (Number Two Card).

Now flip the king card as he goes to sleep and also flip all the other cards as they all go to sleep

Step 10: Take all the cards from the top right corner

Step 11: Take all the cards from the top left corner and place it below the top right corner cards

Step 12 : Take all the cards from the bottom left and place it below the top left corner cards which is below top right corner cards

Step 13 : Take all the cards from the bottom right and place it below bottom left corner which is below top left corner cards

Step 14 : Care has to be taken now hide cards from the observer by placing it at your backside and just shuffle the cards once.

Step 15 : Start placing the cards one by one like first card on the top right ,second on the top left ,third on the bottom left and fourth on the bottom right

Step 16 : Repeat the above mentioned steps until the all the cards are placed

Now we move back to the story the kings (king card )wakes up he moves to the top right room he finds either two Jacks and two queens or 4 locks (Aces) or 4 Guards (twos),
then he moves to top left room he finds either two Jacks and two queens or 4 locks (Aces) or 4 Guards (twos) similarly he will find the above mentioned combinations in the other rooms.


The moral of the story : love can break barriers



Note

1) King card should not mixed with cards he is a (NPC) non playable card in this trick

2) Practise this trick once before performing it in front of live audience


How the trick works

The cards are placed in such an order that even one shuffle the order is arranged in such manner

The shuffling can even be a single card placed from top of this deck to bottom ( You can understand what i am explaining over here).
